In August 2015, “Key Change” by Open Clasp Theatre Company, won the latest Award. This astounding play is absolutely authentic—it was devised by women inmates in a Northern English prison, originally to tour to male prisons. The results were so intense and inspiring— it was polished into a beautiful play. Please read Lyn Gardner’s review in The Guardian.
“Key Change” was presented at New York Theatre Workshop’s 4th Street Theatre from January 6th– January 31st, 2016.
The New York Times called it “A moving, intimate and superbly acted drama about women’s lives”. Read the full review here.
